Velora Websites
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Velora Websites collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It is written in plain language rather than legal shorthand.
Last updated: 10 September 2026
Who we are
This website is operated by Velora Websites (“Velora”, “we”, “us”). We design, build, host and manage websites for businesses.
OWNER INFORMATION REQUIRED — registered business name, legal entity type, business address and any data-protection representative details still need to be supplied before this section can be completed.
What information we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. Through the request form, that is:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your business or company name
- Your phone number (optional)
- Your current website address (optional)
- The service you need, your budget range and your desired timeline
- The project details you write in the message field
When a request is submitted we also record the date and time, a unique submission reference, your browser’s user-agent string, and a one-way hashed version of your IP address. The hash cannot be reversed back into your IP address; it exists only so we can block spam and repeated automated submissions.
We do not ask for and do not want government ID numbers, dates of birth, payment card details, home addresses or passwords. Please do not send them.
Why we collect it and how we use it
- To read your request and reply to you with a plan, price and timeline
- To carry out work you ask us to do
- To keep a record of enquiries we have received
- To protect the form against spam and abuse
We do not sell your information, we do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not pass it to other companies for their own marketing.
Service providers we use
- Hosting and database: this website and the request database run on Lovable’s hosting platform, which uses Supabase for database storage. Submitted requests are stored there.
- Email delivery: when a request is submitted, a notification is intended to be sent to the Velora team by email through the platform’s managed email service.
- Fonts: the site loads the Cinzel and Inter typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s font servers when the page loads.
OWNER INFORMATION REQUIRED — if Velora later adds analytics, a CRM, a chat widget or any other third-party tool, it must be listed here and in the Cookie Policy.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use analytics, advertising pixels, session recording or tracking cookies. See the Cookie Policy for the full detail.
How long we keep it
Requests are kept for as long as needed to respond to the enquiry and to keep a reasonable business record of work discussed or carried out.
OWNER INFORMATION REQUIRED — a specific retention period (for example “24 months after last contact”) should be confirmed by the business owner.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information you submitted, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond. Depending on where you live, local law may give you additional rights.
Security
Requests are transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a database that is not readable from the public website. Only Velora’s server-side code can write to it, and no visitor can read another person’s submission. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect what you send.
Contacting us about privacy
To ask a privacy question or make a request about your information, reply to the email thread we started with you, or use the website request form and say it is a privacy request.
OWNER INFORMATION REQUIRED — a public contact email address for privacy enquiries should be added here if Velora wants one displayed publicly.
Changes and review
We may update this policy as the website changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
LEGAL REVIEW NOTE — this policy has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Privacy, accessibility and data-protection duties differ depending on where Velora operates and where its customers live. Have it reviewed before relying on it, and do not describe the site as fully compliant with any specific law until that review has happened.
